Mozambique has the second larges Mangrove area in the whole African continent but, even so, it risks loosing it. With more and more cyclones each year, we must try to understand now the role played by these suspended forests in mitigation of climate changes and how to conserve them without compromising the lives of the costal communities. Mahid knows the life in Mangrove for more than fifteen years. In this documentary film, produced by ANIMA and directed by Fábio Ribeiro, we get to know this inhabitant from the Quirimbas archipelago, discussing with him the conflicts between population and nature.
